6 Objects – Session #3
One speaker, 30 minutes, six objects: a different way to discover game-related topics through game-unrelated things. Creative processes, lessons learnt while working on a project, insights into gamemaking work: speakers will share their inspirations by telling a personal story from their professional career, based on six objects they find meaningful for one reason or another, six objects they care about, six objects as “plot points” for their talk. Will it be the coffee mug that’s always sitting on their desktop while they’re working? Or the plush toy that first brought them into game design when they were kids? Or something completely unexpected?

Fabio Bortolotti
Fabio “Kenobit” Bortolotti started his career in games writing on several Italian magazines, like Giochi per il Mio Computer, The Games Machine, Videogiochi, Xbox Magazine Ufficiale, Nintendo la Rivista Ufficiale and several others. When print magazines died a horrible death, he started translating videogames, working both on AAA games and on indie games. In the meantime, he toured the world playing his Game Boy as Kenobit and started a retrogaming Twitch channel with his friend Andrea “Bisboch” Babich.
