One-Session Zoom Game: Facts About the Robot Uprising
Facts About the Robot Uprising is the first new game to be developed for the Tiger 2-XL in more than 25 years. Introduced in 1978, the 2-XL has been called “the first smart toy.” Kids pressed buttons on the robot to play trivia games and interactive fiction via multi-track audio cassette tapes.
Facts About the Robot Uprising begins as a trivia challenge in which 3-XL (2-XL’s sinister successor) quizzes the audience on why and how robots will enslave humanity with multiple choice and true-or-false questions.

In addition, he co-founded The Devastator, a humor book publisher whose work was praised by the AV Club, Entertainment Weekly, Nerdist, and many more.
Geoffrey likes to experiment and create unique interactive experiences. He launched Adventure Snack in 2019, the free-to-play email newsletter RPG where players “”choose their own path”” in bizarre fantasy worlds. This October, Geoffrey will make his debut as a speaker at Indiecade, demoing an audio adventure game he designed for the Tiger 2-XL, a 90s robot considered to be the first “”smart toy.””
In Los Angeles, Geoffrey lives with his partner, Amanda, his cat, Gilda, and their collection of bizarre animation cels, including one of a shirtless Dr. Robotnik.”
